Hey guys.....
Was hoping to get some critiques on my 7 month old Partridge Roo. I understand he's not exhibition quality but I like his type......hoping to see a little improvement after first molt. Also pictured is my little pullet I'm hoping to pair with this boy.

No I actually purchased the eggs off of ebay. I've been very successful with shipped eggs but not with this hatch. 3 out of 5 made it but one has really struggled. It's on the mend now though..I really just love these babies.

Yeah 5 was just what made it to hatch. We started with 12. Most didn't make it past the first week for some reason. I don't count those though because alot weren't fertile. My little one definitely has a personality. She thinks she is so big lol. She is only half the size of my palm. Just adorable. I really hope she makes it. Every time I think she is going to get better for sure then she takes a turn for the worse. It goes back and forth. I guess only time will tell. I pray she makes it though.. I'm thinking shipped silkie eggs may not be the way to go.I still think you got a pretty good hatch at least from shipped eggs. The last two batches I have done with shipped eggs have been 6/18 and 10/18. Not very good rates at all. The last one was a little better though. The first batch all the eggs had really bad saddle shaped and detached aircells. Oh, I'm so glad your little one is getting better! I bet Tiny has just the cutest personality! And I can see why you love her!

Oh, yeah, that isn't a great hatch rate either. Shipped eggs are so hard to hatch! Especially small eggs like bantam eggs! Oh, poor, Tiny! If you would like me to, I would love to pray for her to get better. Because God can do anything you know! I would covet your prayers also on a little chick I just hatched from a batch over the front of this week. One of the babies is really weak and I fear she isn't going to make it. She hatched with a part of her intestines or some other part of her still out. I am really worried about her and I would really, REALLY appreciate it if you guys would pray for her!
Yes I most definitely would appreciate your prayers. I said one as well for your little one. I actually have done great with all my shipped eggs. The bantams not so much. I don't know why they are so much harder but ILL have to figure it out before I ever incubate them again.![]()
Looks to be a blue partridge frizzled silkie. Not sure she is a she...looks a bit masculine to me.
