I need to slow down and smell the roses. My third hatch happened on Sunday. I didn't really pay attention. Sad to say. When I thought my final hen was just stating to brood, she surprised me by hatching 4 babies in what seemed like a week to me...she just didn't seem like she was sitting on her clutch for very long...anyway, here's her babies...

So cute! Sometimes 3 weeks just fly by... Sometimes they take forever!

Well my 2 out of the 3 suspected silkies roosters have started crowing. Only one left. I suspect rooster. It's pretty big and has a small comb already. It has me stumped though because it's also super fluffy with a rounder looking crest. It is the fluffiest out of the 3 chickens.

I have one like that, thought for sure a hen, had the biggest fluffiest crest like a hen, but started crowing.
