Silkie thread!

I know that there are silkie sexing forums, but I'm didn't get any responses regarding my silkies. They were born June 23, which makes them about 3.5 months old.
Overhead view of the 3 siblings. One has some gray feathers mixed in with the black. The other two are similar, with the main difference being that one has a bigger poof on his/her head. All 3 have identical combs and wattles that are very tiny. The combs & wattles were non-existent when I bought them 3 weeks ago. Their "poofs", which I'm sure is not the technical term, seem even in length with no "fly always" so far.

Silkie #1: Smokey (grayish feathers)

Silkie #2: Bandit (solid black, smaller "poof")

Silkie#3: BoBo (solid black, large round poof)
PLEASE HELP ME!

My silkies look "fluffier" today.

It was 35 this morning and only a high of about 55.

They are about 6-7 months old.

So is it that they are just getting more mature feathers or fluffed up staying warm?

We've only had them about 3 months now and never seen them look so "fluffed" looking.

We're assuming because Mother Nature dropped our temps quite a bit the past couple days.
