Silkie thread!

So I have to ask, are silkie Roos able to get the job done with large fowl breeds? Mine seems to really have a thing for my big fluffy Orpington but I just can't see it working lol.

I have a silkie rooster with my buff Orpingtons and I'm pretty sure the eggs are fertile. I haven't hatched any but I check them a lot when cooking with them and they sure look fertile to me!

My silkie boys haven't had any issues breeding my EEs or ameraucanas. My couple brahmas have an attitude problem so that is more why they don't get bred

Some of our babies we just hatched....

The boys started getting their combs in a week ago and the girls started getting their crests. Sometimes I'm wrong on the boys, but if my birds start getting big crests early, they are always female. With the attitude, I thought this was a boy. It's a girl. With the light mixed mashed coloring on her, she will make a good picture bird. I love my partridge but they suck for really good pictures.

How many silkie roosters can you stack in a nest box? Apparently the answer is five as the other two were in front of it until I picked them up and put them in an empty one

What ever style silkie snow white is frizzle sizzle, i was she was a hen but now I am not 100% sure!! my roosters take the best care of snow white but now I think maybe because how small this one has always been!!
