LOL! I wasn't planning on getting all 5... but maybe you guys have talked me into it! And "a couple" has always meant somewhere between 2 and 6 or 7 in my family... depending on what we were counting! LOL

I built a cute little house for TWO, mind you, they were to be my pets in addition to a nice laying flock. Months later, I have 25, and its still not enough!

:: snickers :: the rule around here is I'm NOT counting anyone until they are 6 months old LOL! So by that logic I have 6!

Before I lost so many I think I was up around 25 adults but oh well. I have the hardest time saying when enough is enough!

Far better than wasting time and $ at bars or at the mall, IMO!

Ok, seriously, I can't take it if this chick gets any cuter!!!! She is 2 1/2 months old. I took these pictures last night right before trimming her crest back for the THIRD time already! She is incredibly sweet and loves to snuggle.

once they are old enough and the hens lay i will be selling their eggs a nice lady sold me some of her eggs for me to hatch after a coon got to mine now i am having to rebuild my flock. The lady showed her chickens and they always did good in the shows. hopefully when these cuties get old enough to show they will do great also. If i get to may roos out of this hatch i will be keeping 3 or 4 and selling the others just hope i can find someone close. they are different from my other babies that the coon killed these are very quiet and do not make as much noise. Later tonight i will be separating the colors for pictures so that i can get a better picture of them the pictures i have posted does not do them any justice.
