3 new hatches this morning 5 eggs left to go.

We have a perfect hatch!!!!
All 8 eggs hatched!!!! One of my silkie babies doesn’t have black legs and feet. Is this normal?
This was my second batch of silkie babies, but first one without black legs and feet.

Congrat's on the hatch! It is my understanding that the true silkies are to have black skin, and black beak's, leg's, and feet. Maybe those came from hatchery or a breeder that crossed them somewhere up the line?

The egg came from my silkies. My Red Partridge Roo and my Buff silkie Hen. All the other babies have black legs and stuff. Like I said, this is my second batch but first without black legs.

My silkies all got a lice dip and a blow dry today. Ilove how they fluff up when they get a good spa treatment lol.
