Sorry it took all day but here's the pictures of the silkie x silkie feathered ameraucana babies
I love watching these fluffy butts.... to bad It's looking like my tiniest chicks are both male... (They aren't silkies)
As a new chick person I looked for numerous timeline/progression photos of baby chicks to just have an idea what to expect and couldn’t really find any. So I started my own. Here is a few of my fluffy butts so far... I think my Pearl might be a “he”
I have a small growth progression on My Coop page along with other pics. I'll repost them here.
Partridge pullet. I started taking pictures as soon as I could sex.
Week 6 -male on left the female on right
And here's that cockerel from week 6 at 14 weeks old
It's like a giant cotton ball pile
Managed to get some nice shoes the other day I didn't get everyone but he's most of my silkie flock.
I give up I'm dna testing this one.... 4 months old....
It's a cockerel. Pullets are brown, not red
Had to dig and find a picture of a lighter young partridge cockerel. Looks around 10 or so weeks old in this. I can tell it's male just by color.
Does anyone have any pics of Lavender and Splash baby Silkies under a week old? Need to compare to my 4 day old babies!!
