Hi ya'll I have a beautiful black silkie; am thinking It's a Roo he's so black that he is getting this green shine in his tail and back. Can I still show him. Please give any thoughts:/

Thanks for the help. I have two really pretty partridge pullets in this same hatch but I plan to post t on the partrige thread. I'll appreciate your thoughts as it's not always easy to get people to critic.

now those are partrdge of course i love the top one but 2nd one to right partrdge rooster can make u some lovely birds

Thank you so much! Do you think she is blue partrige? I have 4 nice blues but they may all be pullets and all dark blue but one. I'm getting a shipment of BBS eggs any day now and also included are some blue parti eggs so we will see. They will be from SQ stock. Can't wait!!

My oh my this thread goes fast. So I will try to post again. I know this is probably on here, but is there anyway to tell if a 2 week old chick is a girl or boy? I have one little chick due to the fact the my BCM has a problem with starching around to much and killed 3 of the 4 babies, including a beautiful lavender baby. Anyways I was hoping it was a girl.

what i useualy do raise up all my sq or bq birds and then buy roosters or hens to pair them off

There is nobody that I can find in my area so I would have to pay shipping. I don't think DH is ready for $100 plus birds.
