[Three Cedars Silkies]

Gray is a patterned color and is many times called "silver patridge". It is not an all over solid color. Here is a pic of a gray hen (not mine...bird and picture are owned by Bluegrass Bantams)

Here are a few pic of my grays. My cock bird is going through a molt and doesn't look his best(so no pic of him), he is a little bit lighter gray than the young cockerel pictured below.

The young cray cockerel is GORGEOUS . I am no expert but i just love the color - would assume it would be hard to get one that wasnt leaning into a blue gray?
