Sorry if you guys have already seen this, but I can't find my post on here XD. What is the lowest temperature to put a Silkie in?

Is it Safeguard liquid goat wormer?

Keep in mind that wormers will not kill eggs, but will kill larva after hatching (and adults.) This is why it's always recommended to do a second worming after the initial dosing and before the larva reach aduIt size. I use Safeguard liquid goat wormer as well. Use a syringe without a needle and administer orally undiluted. Pull the wattles down and the mouth will open, squirt the liquid in the mouth and immediately release the wattles so that they can swallow it. Dosage is 1cc for giants, 3/4cc for large fowl, 1/2cc for standards, 1/4cc for smaller birds. Redose again in 8-10 days. There's a 14 day withdrawal period after the last dosing.

Silkies would be 1/4 cc

What I did with the Valbazen is inject it inside the dried meal worms sometimes it took two or three to get the full dose in, and they just gobbled them up super easy. I have access to needles tho with a diabetic in the family. Butterfly needles were to small to suck it up has to be a little bigger. I've read people putting it in the middle of small pieces of bread but haven't tried that myself. You wouldn't want them to flick the bread loosing medicine you would have to try a plain piece first to make sure they just gobbled it down. And separate them so no one runs up and grabs someone else's and gets to much. Dawgs way is probably best but what ever works for you. I liked the stress free meal worms and they eat them up no problem.
 
Mine have been through zero to minus 3 F with no problems. I do not light or heat their coops. They just need a draft free and DRY shelter with lots of thick bedding, I use straw, and they will pile up together on the floor. They also lived through the extreme drought and heat here this past summer, although I did lose two of them to the heat, even when watered down and misted throughout the day. They do better in the cold than they do the heat I feel.

dont worry they were only in that pen for a few hours bc we were dealing with some predators and bc they arent the brightest creatures i put them in there :)

it is the paste instead of the liquid. it is the 10% like the goat one, but this one is the paste for horses. Any way to administer it and measure it out? it is all I could find.
