I'm hoping for light blue partridge.Oh I can't wait to see how they grow! What are you thinking? Are you aiming for a certain coloration?
Really hard to evaluate chicks at this age. I look for leg and foot feathering and take a peek at their wing fan, but I don't really start to know what I've got till about three months and even then it's just a beginning. At four months I have a pretty good idea if I have a nice girl but it takes a lot longer for the boys.
Your chick seems to have a fairly large comb for this age which could mean boy but not necessarily. Silkies often take several months to sex.
Sandy looks male to my eyes. Big eye, hawk beak, big comb for that age and stance is erect. I can't see the feet and legs well. Just a guess.
