Thanks for the input! What us the difference between a grey and a self blue?

Ok. A couple more questions.

I have two in the grey color and 1 dark grey/black and one very black. Will they be that color or change?

The charcoal colored greys will be blue, the darkest one may be black.

Does anyone feed their silkies fermented feed? I am thinking of using it as a supplement.

I used to, but I kept forgetting to mix it

Yes, I offer fermented and dry so they have a choice and they love the fermented.

I think so too! For hatchery chicks I think they are pretty nice. One is missing a toe on one foot though! They are just for pets so its ok!

It's been a while since I posted. The babies are almost 8 weeks now and in the silkie uglies. They have all molded into 3 colors. Grey, partridge and Colombian. Since the daddy of some was my pet roo with the single comb I can pick out all the Roos already. I'm definitely in the market for a replacement roo.
