I am glad to hear they are doing fine. I am always scared for my silkies since one of mine was badly pecked on the head and unfortunately never recovered. Since the incident, I have never let them free range and fortunately they seem to be fine. They did fine, no one targeted them. They just hung out as a pair. I did have to coop them as they only made it to the pallet that is the step to the pop door. I put them in the corner of the coop where they won't get pooped on. I will be out there when I put my LF rooster back in with everyone on Monday. I don't think he will bother them though. They have had through the fence contact for a month now, so they recognize each other.

I am on my second broody(LF) raising chicks in the flock. The rooster pretty much ignores the chicks, and if momma is confident enough she can ward him off from trying to mate.
White with black on hackles primaries and tip of tail. Not common in silkies. Think of light brahmas. These chicks do not look columbian.
