Silkie thread!

has anyone ever gotten knots of dirt on their silkies toenails? how do u get them off?
I put mine in a shallow pan of soapy water and let them soak..then break them up a bit. Soak some more until I can get them all the way off. They can be hard like a rock!!! We have sort of sandy dirt here so they arent as bad as they would get where I used to live.

I thought she should have a nice, classy name because she's the only white one I have.
Perfect name for lovely lady!

Precious treasure! So sorry about the paint. I had a newborn recover in two days! I thought sure it was a goner too.

Need help with Silkie medical issue. My friend's splash silkie is having trouble with her legs today. She's from the same clutch my silkie is from so she's 3 months old. Donna, my friend, says the silkie is displaying weak legs. Can walk but has to flutter her wings to do so. Eating. Bright eyed. Any ideas about what might be going on? Thank you in advance.
