r east coast silkies fairly priced and good quality? im pretty close to them and may be interested in aome

She has show quality stock, but she cannot guarantee show quality as chicks. I am so new to this, that I have no idea what the quality of my chicks are. On her website, she has the prices by color and age. It can be a little confusing, so I just called her up, and she was able to tell me exactly what she had hatching. I ordered mine the day the were born, but we had so many blizzards in the next three weeks, that she could not ship until then for fear of them freezing. I had a lot of communication with her, and she was easy to work with. I can't remember the exact price for each. The specialty colors were around $25 but my buffs were like $8.

I'm trying to find silkies in West Virginia (holy crap it's harder than one would think!) and I have a lady who will sell me her trio (two hens and a roo) for $65. I'm wondering if that's a good price? I'm really new to this and unsure about pricing of critters

This would be a good price for pet quality. If they are breed quality, it's an excellent price.

We are NPIP. I can get pictures tomorrow assuming we don't have the storm that is predicted. Otherwise it would be Friday.

When do you guys usually candle eggs for the first tim?. I set 24 Catdance eggs 6 days ago. I am dying to see if anything is happening. I am so worried that they might have gotten scrambled on their long trip to VA. If you can't tell yet, I am not super patient! I feel like it has been forever already!!

We candle at 10 days. By then it's obvious if something is growing or if it's not growing. Before then I always worry we are throwing away good eggs!
