Quote: Let me guess...you are having extra hot weather? Wry neck seems to come back with stress...at least if it was relatively recent (within the last 6 months). I have a "wryneck" pullet who is spending her summer inside in the air conditioning. She was all recovered for a good couple of months, then the heat hit and I almost lost her, and the wryneck came back full force. Two days inside and she was fine again. She just is not happy spending all her time in a bird cage.

can going broody cauze post wry neck to reoccur, my paint hen who i have been trying to grt her to hatvh something out for years i had to lift her off of her nest and stumble around the feeder to get somethkng to eat and drink poor thing couldnt even find the egg again.... oh yra do birds get off their eggs and sit about a foot away to cool tehm off some or is it jusy her?
Yes, that happens in hot weather. Any stress can cause wryneck to recur.
