Do you have any other breeds in with your silkies? Not every silkie lays the same shade of egg but it does seem a bit dark. Looks like the right size though =)

Yes I have 8 red sex links but that would be an extremely small egg and two days in a row

Is it normal for a 6 day old silkie to be this small? I noticed her bodice is the same size as it was when she was a day old except she has long wings now.

Looks normal to me? The wings are the first to grow

Thank you, She was the smallest out of the ones I had to choose from and I was making sure she wasn't looking like a runt. She is definitely the smallest out of my chicks I got that day.

That would be why LOL Silkies are bantams, they are SUPER tiny especially as chicks!
