Frizzle is usually just the name of the gene mutation.

Sizzle is the term used to describe a silkie with rough frizzled feathers. They are shown as silkies. Frizzled Silkies (also called Frilkies) are Silkies with frizzled silkie feathers. Frazzle is the term used in any breed to describe double dose of the frizzle gene, making feathers brittle.

There IS a true Frizzle breed, but most times we are talking about the feathers only and not the actual breed.
