Silkie thread!

I have this stuff called Farmer's helper ultra kibble. It's high in protein, check it out:http://www.wildbirdsuets.com/foragecakes/kibble.htm
It has corn but it isn't the sole ingredient. You could also try oats, barley, BOSS, and cooked eggs
Thanks! I'll check out the kibble. I feed everything else that you suggested...among other things.

I just need her to put that weight back on in a hurry. She actually conditioned while brooding the chicks, so I would like her back up to par before showing. Skin and bones right now.

Sounds like she has a deformity. Can you get a picture of her bum and where her vent is located? If she does have a deformity, hopefully she is NOT a female because she most likely could have trouble trying to lay eggs.

Here's Pinto's back end, after a good bath. That was one really caked bum. I think Pinto really is rumpless because there is no tail nub back there (yes, such technical terms I use

). It's just smooth all the way down her back to bum.

Unhappy chicken with funny "hair."

Hrd to really tell what's what, but i'm going to say that vent doesn't look right... anyone else have any opinions?
