Silkie thread!

I was just reading your other posts. Are these the same chicks that have been sneezing ? If so are there other symptoms? What type of bedding are you using? Lots of questions , sorry, just trying to help.

Opinions? All of my hopes are pinned on this chick being a little cockerel, and I don't think its looking good :/ If this ends up being a pullet, I'll have to start looking for a rooster :barnie
I know these aren't the best pictures, but they are the best I could do. It thinks I'm out to get it. It somewhere around 3-4 months old. Thanks :)

Yes I've candled. What I'm saying is what does a quitter look like. How do I know if it's a quitter or to just keep it in there?

Look for a blood ring, growth that's stopped in comparison to the other eggs. Smell if they have quit it wont take them long to start stinking. I had one explode you sure don't want that.

I think it looks like a pullet but in the 2nd photo it looks like maybe there are some streamers trying to grow in on the back of its head? Better pictures if you can catch it that are closer up would help.

The blood ring photo is too small to accurately guage what I'm looking at. But I have seen a few of my eggs that "I" would call a blood ring, so I started throwing any of those out. But then I saw movement in one of them and kept it just in case. So that's why I'm confused.

I tend to keep them all till lockdown..kind of risky possibly, but I'm an optimist...unless it's OBVIOUSLY not growing like the others..then I definitely throw them out...clear as mud? :)
