Silkie thread!

I think that's a cross breed with a silkie.

yes, i would tend to agree perhaps just a bad pic but silkies are just pieces of fluff with a beak lol These are my daughters latest little flock, day we picked them up.. 4-5wks old.

I too thought it looks like a Japanese bantam tail on my little one

there are 3, one including my little roo roo, that look like normal silkies and a 4th that is a frizzle silkie
2 blacks, roo roo is a lavender and a grey

they are all only intended as pets....but I sure do love them

this is the oldest of the silkies I have...Calico...she's about 4 and a half months the others are maybe 2 and a half

Are these guys show worthy. They are 100% homemade(that's sounds weird) but I had the silkies and hatched chicks from there eggs. They are 5 months old.

The first one has loose wings but the second one is pretty nice. If you could get a picture of their wings spread out and their feet then it would be easier to tell whether they are or not. Pretty birds!

The babies got too big for their tote, so we improvised tonight. They are hopping around like little popcorns.

What do you guys think of this girl so far? She's 5.5 weeks old. I was hoping to show her, but I don't know if I can with her color the way she is? She's from a porcelain pen.

Her hatch mates are looking better than she, but sadly they are boys and I wont be able to keep them when they get bigger.

Someone else said that too, but how would I get porcelain from a blue roo and a blue or white hen? How do you know yours is a boy already?

I don't know the genetics of it, but I know porcelain is also called "self blue cream", so there's blue in there somewhere!
