She is so cute.  Love her color.  Mine are like little mud balls right now with all the rain we have been getting.   I gave them a bath a few weeks ago.  Not sure how often I should do it and not strip their oils. Plus I will wait until it dries out a bit so they don't get all dirty again right away.

North Georgia here and every thing is a cold muddy mess. All this rain is driving me crazy. My nice clean coops are awful now and I can't keep the shavings dry. I put a inverted 4x4 plastic pallet in my bantam coop so the Silkies would have a dry place to sleep. They and the d'Uccle both look like they have been making mud pies. It's just awful.

Never had any hatch this colour, it will be interesting to see how they turn out.

This is my Grey Showgirl, Jewell. Hopefully a girl, 10wks old.


Any other Showgirl I've hatched have all been white, even when the Roo was black.

8 and 10 week baby updates!!!!! I missed a week or two. They are getting really big. I am still iffy on sex of some of them. Anyone is welcome to pipe in if they have any thoughts on them. My hens have little walnut combs under their big crests, so some of my girl babies may look like boys.

Sheldon. All boy, or very aggressive girl. Has already went full rooster on my hand twice lol! He is tiny, but doesn't know it. Only bites if I startle him.

Mums bearded blue but dad is red partridge . The littlest one has a yellow spot above its eye and the bearded one is yellowish underneath.
