I took some pictures of my 12 week old Silkies today. They look full grown already! I'm so in love with your gorgeous pullets! Specially that middle one in the first picture what color is she exactly? Porcelain or a Buff maybe? She looks very creamy and I Love it!

2 weeks 3 days. I will try the leg thing soon....im sure it will work! right now, the chicks are TOO heavy to hang so im not doing that.

I don't hang I hold on to their bodies and turn them over on their backs. Don't hold them there long.

She came from Catdance's porcelain pen. She is such a sweetie. Hopefully her and the boy to her right will make some pretty babies

i am fairly new to show quality silkies I bought chicks about 2 months ago and was wondering is it "easy"? i have i believe about 6 splash pullets 1 blue pullet and a blue cockerel.

Mine were easy to sex. The roosters combs are real obvious. I don't know though. The one that has no comb and is my dark blue "pullet" sure acts like a rooster! I could be in for a surprise
