HI. How long does the middle toe take to get feathered (I'm seeing 2 sprigs on this one). I've got babies from parents with super feathered feet, but still have a bare middle toe. This one was taken at about 2.5 weeks or so. His other feet are feathered (or her). I think boy, based solely on attitude.

This may seem like a dumb question but im guna ask anyways.... im still learning about the different color genes and what color crosses will make what. What will a Partridge X Porcelain make? I have a very nice Partridge Roo I put over a Porcelain Hen. Im not breeding them for show or to sell, just having fun with it.. & I get to have some new ones. 4 of them just hatched this weekend and have a cute little chipmunk pattern, verry much like a Partridge.
Any thoughts or input?

I'm not that great with genetics, but I do know that the partridge colour has been dominant here. I suspect you will get different versions of partridge .

I'm not that great with genetics, but I do know that the partridge colour has been dominant here. I suspect you will get different versions of partridge .

I thought maybe the Partridge would be dominant thats why I didnt mind using my Porcelain Hen, my partridge "hen" turned into a roo so I figured id just see what I get. I also bread him to a blue and the chick from that is mostly blue with some gold on the head, beard & little on the wings and feet... will be interesting to see how it turns out. Thx for the input
