Hello everyone. I hope you can help me solve a mystery. I had a broody hatch 8 eggs from this pen this weekend:

I have no prior experience with bantams and don't really know quality but I do know these two MF D'Uccle girls and the Silkie boy produced these chicks: They are my aunt's birds, her only bantams and I collected the eggs myself.

So I have 8 darling fluff balls. 4 of them Gold and 4 of them Silver. (It is hard to see the gold one in the pic it is on the left) Am I right in assuming that this is a sex link cross? If so who is who? Someone on the SL thread said that either the boys or the girls would have lighter skin (don't remember now which) but the silvers and the golds all seem to have equally dark grey skin so I am still wondering. Any help would be appreciated. These are the cutest little things. Is there any reason other than being sex linked that the same breed/color combo would hatch out 2 different colors?? Thanks in advance!
