Mine never roosted! I had a small barn that I took half a bale of hay and spread thru it. I'd find them at night all huddled in one corner snuggled together. Silkies LOVE to snuggle! With themselves and ppl.

Mine used to roost at night(they used to live in a small coop with low roost) but now they live in a 3x3meters(2meters tall) pen and the roosts are high, my silkie pullet now sleep in her favorite nesting box or ontop of a fallen log

Just a sweet pic I wanted to share of my only partridge baby girl Shirley. She's such a sweet, calm baby. One of the few that will cuddle and fall asleep on me. I also love her huge top knot!



And also wanted to announce my baby boy just turned 1yrs old yesterday! Where did the time go?! I still feel like he should be a newborn lol. I cant believe i'm about to have another one in Aug. Three is a good number for me lol.
