Thanks! That was my suspicion as well. It kind of stinks since I can't have roos in my neighborhood, but I have close friends with farms. I will wait until he/she truly declares gender though...

I too believe coco is crowing. As for brownie besides the tail feathers brownie still could possibly be a hen.

They are pullets.

That is what I usually think too. But Clem, FeFe and Dude are always together, facing off and such and they leave run off and leave Lemon all the time, so I switch up and think they are all boys...it would be awesome though if they are pullets.

I have an EE Silkie mix, and boy can she fly. We love her feathering and she has the funnest personality. We think she is a she?

She was 2 months old here.



3 months old now.


None of the other chicks can get up this high in the coop and we have some RIRs in there that are the same age. When we let them out this one flies so far 3 times as far as the rest.

They look like pullets to me. Pullets ' stand off ' against each other too.
