Silkie thread!

Do you sell hatching eggs from these beauties? If so I would love to get some please. Send me a PM if you can.

Thanks...

I've gotten lots of paints from my paint Rooster and blue hen, including these beauty's.

I never thought I would say this but after one week off of school and work I'm ready to go back!

I graduated with my B.S. degree and don't start grad school until mid September. I don't go back to work until Sept 2!

I'm thinking of pushing grad school out for a year though and getting certified in chemical dependency. I see jobs posted all over for CDP and it's in my area of study.

Yes I'm rambling on the internet because I'm bored out of my mind!!!!

I'm really hoping that we have better odds with the new silkie chicks and get a 50-50% chance of getting girls! I really hope my daughter wants to get into breeding and wants to breed paints because I'm in love with their look!

I do have one question though, since all the chicks have their egg tooth still does that mean they are under 3 days old? At what age do they lose their egg tooth?

Another question. All of the buff chicks are different in color. One is much darker, the a lighter one (that I swear looks like gray marks on it) and then a much lighter one. When they lose their fluff how much will they keep the color? I mean will we have varying shades of buff?

Yes buff and all colors but white vary in shades. And yes on 3 days and under. :)

Finally able to know age within three days rather than three weeks! These little ones are very active. Cheeping loudly for us, eating, drinking and of course the poop. They are just so tiny! When we put our hands in the brooder box they come running over to our hands. One of them has a fascination with our fingernails. We've never had chicks come run to us when we put our hands in the brooder box!
