Silkie thread!

Can anyone provide me with some insight as to how well Silkie cockerels get along with one another once mature? I've got two Silkie cockerels and only one pullet. So far they get along famously, but they're only 6 weeks old and haven't "discovered girls" yet. I'm just trying to prepare for the possibility of having to get rid of one of them. Gingy & Tika...my two Silkie boys.
I introduced a new silkie cockerel to a silkie rooster with an existing flock. There was about 5 minutes of the new guy getting his crest ripped at by the rooster then they were fine. They all get along now. :)

Great question, I'm wondering this! I'm afraid my three buffs are boys to! They're three months old, I haven't named them yet because I'm afraid I might have to get rid of them, I can only have five birds total and I can't have a flock of roosters either. Hopefully our birds are all just tomboy hens!

They're super cute! Hopefully a couple of them decide to lay eggs for you.

Awesome! I really adore these two guys. They have widely divergent personalities, but they're little loves so I really don't want to have to part with either of them.

Okay. How are these "head shots" of Zazzles? For telling the gender.

I'm going to have to vote cockerel as well. I see a lot of similarities in Zazzles at 4 weeks to my little Tika, who suddenly at 5 weeks developed sizable wattles, experienced a noticeable enlargement of his comb, and underwent quite the personality transformation. (He became more assertive and more affectionate with me.)

Does this mean you'll keep the name Zazzles?
