They definitely have a lot of color in their plummage! They look lighter in the sunlight, which shows off their creamier "undercoat" of fluffy feathers, but they are definitely on the orangey side. I love them though! My little girl is like a teddy bear in a chicken costume. As soon as I step into the run she just wants me to pick her up and snuggle...and her guys strut around me the whole time, just watching to make sure I'm treating her right.
