Silkie thread!

I got these Friday!!! I could only convince the hubby on two... I wanted like four!
Anyway I named them "Puff" and "Fluff" What do you guys think?
Also any guess on the color of the second one? My guess is defiantly white for Puff but I'm not sure for Fluff!

Puff (left, yellow chick) Fluff (right, has more red/orange color)

I think Chick #2 may be self-blue (lavender)

The broodies, oh the broodies! Its definitely spring here, all of my Silkies and Sizzles are ready for chicks! I have 3 Silkies, 2 Sizzles and a bantam Cochin sitting on eggs right now. And I think 2 more Silkies are toying with the idea
Everywhere I go in my Silkie coop I hear "screech, growl, grumble, grumble".
And I have almost 100 eggs cooking in my incubators. Everyone went broody after the eggs had been in the 'bators about a week, of course :gig

My chick was the same color her first few days, but her feathers are coming in with black spots. I thought she was buff but I guess not. Cute chicks! This is how much mine changed.

I have a question the thermostat on my egg incubator says 37.5 but when I put my hand in it doesn't seem warm like my little giant that says 99.5 i5 it it working I'm going to buy another thermometer any help please

oh thanks! I have another that looks just like her but her wings are coming in the buff color without black feathers so I thought it was odd!

I had the same reaction when I first saw it in chicks a few years back. "What is this? I've been duped!". lol
