Silkie thread!

I have some youngins that I think are roosters

and they do the little cock fight dance with each other nearly every day.
I think if there fighting one or both will probably be boys, but occasionally you will come across an aggressive hen.

ive got a pretty agressive hen, though she is not a silkie. she wont let me even touch her feathers. which at first she loved. now she just does a strange hissing noise and pecks.

its pretty hilarious!! my 2 silkies let us lay them on their back to get their under fkluff, and they fell asleep!!!

I havent been on here for awhile, but I had to share a couple of my favorite babies from this springs hatch. The pics don't do them justice, some of their crests are nearly as big as their tails, I see crest taping happening soon. <3 The last one is a little boy, everyone else are girls.

My girls get more sensitive when they molt and shy away from handling and after the molt is over they're back to their sweet cuddly selves.

gosh darnit i said hen again XD *nervous laugh* Shes about 2 weeks from laying, i dont know yet whether she would go broody. her personality sais no, she HATES my 3 other chicks. but maybe if she had her own?
