I used the cream for about 2 days. It all happened on the 13th and by the 15th I was able to get it to stay in. I'll tell you what I babied that chicken more than my own children.

That's a great result, but keep the cream on hand , just in case.

My sick or injured chickens get pampered too, and when my kids whine about why THEY don't get to sit on pillows and eat scrambled eggs when they're sick, I tell them it's because the chickens pay rent! Lol J/k

Not unless you see obvious signs of distress. If she is eating and drinking , not waddling or consistently squatting as if to try to lay an egg. The slightest health issue can effect egg production.
