Silkies and Sizzles will often lay anywhere from 6-9 months, they're not a production breed so they can vary quite a bit.

What is the difference between a sizzle and a silkie.

And a silkin I think that's how it is spelled.

Sizzle I think describes how the feathers are. Many chickens besides Silkies can have frizzled feathers and I believe that's what they are referring too.That's my guess.

A sizzle is a cross between a frizzled cochin rooster and a silkie hen, the sizzle will have the feathers like a frizzled cochin but all of the characteristics of a silkie black skin, 5 toes, walnut comb, etc.

A silkie is a type of chicken that has hair like feathers so "silky" smooth 5 toes, walnut comb, and is small and friendly

A silkichin is a cross between a standard cochin rooster and a silkie hen, a silkichin has 5 toes, black skin, and a rose comb, etc.
