As always, Napolean isn't exactly the best representation of the breed... but he sure likes to pose for the camera!

He has such a sweet face and eyes.

Cotton, my white, won second to a beautiful d'uccle hen at our local fair!!

I feel for you... I lost the first coop of Silkies I hatched, beautiful lavender, porcelain, paint and black silkies. It was chicken tragedy!

I think the universe is making it up to me now with these new babies. I hope more silkies come your way soon!

My cockerel Carl is also a misfit (his comb is a tiny double comb), but he's such a sweetie.

He's a porclien sizzled silkie.

thank you, my son decided he wanted to name all our pullets after princesses but i do have one silkie named gronkowski and i thought that was appropriate since gronkowski is a ladies man on the patriots football team lol
