I'm new to silkies. What is a lavender split?

I think it is lavender spilt with another color but I am not sure what color.

Okay thank you. The girl I had gotten it from has a Silver partridge rooster, silver partridge hen, and a white hen so I'm not sure

Absolutely. I have 2 x Roos in each of my breeding pens as a safeguard, never know when your going to lose one.

Ok thank you. My grandmother really lobes the roosters and wanted one without a hen because she doesn't want chicks. I didn't think it was a good idea to have it alone so I told her I would look into 2 roosters and see if that was possible. Thanks for the help.

Well you could get a roo and a hen and then just don't let her set on eggs.

Yes I mentioned that but she doesn't want them mating lol..

O ok well that would work just get a roo but as long as it's outside with other chickens at neighbors houses and stuff it's just going to run away because it wants to be with others.
