As I'm still fairly new to silkies and the colors, recognized and others....... Any help in identifying the color of this silkie and showgirl? They are from different breeders and even though the lighting is a bit different in the photos they are the identical color next to one another. Flash was on..showing reddish tines but in natural light they're more tan. They are a smidge over 3 months.

I've heard with white you don't want to mix it. You can keep blue,black and splash in the same breeding pen. This one looks to be just partridge to me but I could be wrong..

Blue Partridge?
I have Blacks Blue, and one Splash, along with several varying shades of Partridge (gold, silver). A Porcelain pair......one Paint, and one White. And 2 or 3 unknowns. LoL
just trying to figure out best color combinations to pair up.
Hey guys. I have 3 11 week old silkies who I'm starting to suspect might be cockerels. Do silkies get saddle feathers and if so what do they look like? I have 2 partridge and one buff. Thanks.
