It's the keratin at the bottom of the feathers--it is a natural part of growing all feathers--just leave them, in no time they'll be gone.

Sometimes they look rattier and again, it's normal. Does take more time on some birds.

Found out that Bob is a pullet!(I didn't name her)

How? Well, my HUGE black cochin rooster was uh...."on" her.
I feel bad for her!



Could such a large bird hurt a tiny silkie like Bob by mounting?
