Honestly, it's hard to tell this soon. I used to think it would be easy to tell by the wideness of the comb area on them. Nope. If you look back up at my Uggums..the black girl..she has a very wide comb. And thick! But I know she's a she.
I also went by the sweeping back of the head feathering..which, usually is a sign of a cockerel. Again, look at Uggums..and then down at the paint boy! His is straight up at 4 months.
The tail. Now, that is easier. In your first bird, the third photo of the back shot..looks like a cockerel tail to me. And, longer legs! Give it another month. May be easier by then. Someone else here may be better than I am at this age. Pretty!
