Silkie thread!

Hurray! My new camera arrived yesterday afternoon and I actually figured out how to put most of it together! It's basic but still has more features than I'll ever use. I just hope I can take some decent pictures of my moving hens -- the little buggers never stay still!
Congrats. I find a huge difference in picture quality even between my 8 year old dslr camera and my Galaxy S7. Read your manual for a sports mode or how to adjust shutter speed to faster.

So she is Partridge and thats brown/black? Also what makes some of their crest so big? I have to trim it or it gets ice!

Yes, 5 hens/no roos -- and only so long as there are no neighbor complaints.  Our city can be zoned for chickens but if a neighbor complains, it means disbanding.  My friend 2 blocks away had a nosy neighbor that was the bane of city hall with her complaint calls about all her surrounding neighbors that she was coined a "nuisance caller" but the city still has to follow up all calls.  My friend was measured by the city as not having a coop enough distance of 50 feet from any houses and was shut down even though technically she could have chickens but she was shut down on an ordinance detail just because of a nuisance neighbor.  Nuisance neighbors have dogs that bark all day and night but they call city hall if a rooster crows or a hen cackles -- go figure? :th

That's just nuts. I don't understand it. Although hey, there is always bribery. Haha your neighbors don't complain they get free eggs. My family might be moving and we're only looking in towns that let me have my chickens and ducks. I understand having rules about chickens if you have less than .5 acres but more than that I don't think it should matter.

I want a partridge silkie now seeing all those pics. >.< Might have to go back to the breeder and get a blue and a partridge. So much for my only 2 silkies (currently 4 now).

My roosters keep fighting over white china (porcelain) now some of her tail and head feathers are missing is there something I should do?? Or is she just molting?? She is my only hen that is with one or the other?? I just don't know if I should worry???

Two roosters and only one hen!? I'd either get some more hens or get rid of a rooster.

Two roosters 17 hens she's just the only one they both want!

Oh, okay. Sorry I misunderstood. You could separate the roosters. Or as long as they don't hurt each other or her give it some time and see if they work it out. I'm not experienced with rooster fighting issues because I've only ever had one at one time. But hopefully someone else will give you some more advice.
