Silkie thread!

Does anyone know what kind of silkie has strips? Her wing like light grey and white striped.

So, I had a lone Call duckling hatch. If I put the little one with my Silkie momma and her chicks hatched on the same day, would she take in as her one of her own?

yes she sure will a silkie would take care of a car if it fit under her

I have chicks hatching in the incubator today, and I have a 5 month old Silkie hen in the coop. She is already laying, but shows no interest in sitting on her eggs. Is there any chance she would accept a chick, or is she far too young? I think she's too young.

Even silkies usually need to go broody first before taking chicks. There are rare exceptions.
