Partridge is a pattern, gold or silver is the color base... similar to duckwing, that's the pattern but it can be gold or silver...

Most common color base is gold in the partridge so it's just usually called partridge...

Would you consider sending me some eggs to hatch and hope I get more girls? I don't know what i'll do with 50 silkie roosters...... hubby's not a fan of butchering tiny chickens. lol

I really want blue/splash/lavendar/whites. LOL I have enough blacks lol red/partridge is okay, but I prefer the lighter colors.

This little one is so white they usually have more of a yellow color to them. Does anyone know if this will make it a different color when it's older.

3 dollars per dozen eggs for eating.

For hatching eggs - I pay 45 for 28+ extra and that includes shipping from my ebay breeder I use.

What's the difference between a Blue Silkie and a Gray Silkie?

Is there a difference? I just thought all of the greys were called blues in the silkies.

Light blue, dark blue. I had both in this last hatch.

Ravyn...those pullets are from your eggs..and guess what? The 7 I kept..were all pullets!

We are not supposed to but someone has to report the post first. Try wording a regular post in a way that people can tell you are interested in selling them. Or you can post on the sell forum.
