The first batch will be splash, the ones coming from Sundown silkies are buff. I am anxiously awaiting Sunday when I can candle them for the first time to see if there are any signs of life. I don't know for sure if they are fertile or not.

I put them in a paper egg carton with bottoms cut out and have been turning them 5 times a day. Last night when I added water to the tray I guess I overfilled it. The carton was soaked when I checked it this morning. Humidity was 60%. AAAAARRRRRRGGGGHHH! I hope that won't hurt them! They've been in there only 4 days so far. I got it out and transferred them to a plastic one. Someone please tell me that the spike in humidity won't hurt them.......please!!!!! Temp. remained the same.

This whole endeavor is one more step toward earning my Certifiably Insane Card.
