Thanks Bacres,

He is really a nice looking boy. The first picture is one that I took of him today. I got him from Sunshine Silkies and she has awesome Silkies. Here's a couple more pics of him. He just keeps getting fluffier and fluffier!!

Cammy,
Is that picture of the one you just got from Vickie? Man he looks FANTASTIC!!!!!
Maybe when the mud dries you could brush it out with a soft hairbrush or something. You no how boys are, find some mud and they
will be in it!! LOL!!!

Yes, that is Vegas! He is a fantastic boy. I love him............. He is a sweet boy too. He just had to do it though. Had to mess that crest up. I'll get one of those baby brushes and see if I can brush it out.

well, I have 6 whtie bearded silkies now, wasn't going to get them, but, I fell off the crazy boat. haha. They are silly little things.
My question is, what age can they go to the coop without heat?
they are 8 and 9 weeks old now.
I know silkies get their feathers in a bit slower then other chickens, but, I'd like to get them moved soon, they are currently in our garage in a pen with a heat lamp.
