Have you tried silver metallic sharpie? I was wondering if that would show up

Hello Silkie Lovers. I have a question for you all. I have 3 silkie's (got rid of 3 roos already). I have One Blue Roo, One White Pullet, and One Undetermined. The undetermined is the one i question. He/She hasn't crowed, doesn't look all that rooish but a little, but I don't think it's laying an egg either. The hatch date was September 28th. Shouldn't I be able to tell by now what it is????

Second question is regarding breeding for Splash color. I would like to breed splash chicks eventually. What colors should i be breeding? Thank you

it can take up to 11 months for them to start laying. could you post a picture of it ?
