Thanks!!! it is sooo cute and always looks at you and talks to you. Any idea what color? The dad is also a splash split to lav

Does anyone have pictures of Lavender Silkies?

Do you run into the same feather quality problems with Silkies that you do like in other Lav birds? Fretting, etc?

Well to me the chick doesn't look to be splash so I would guess lavender but you know how judging pictures on the internet goes lol Kinda looks to be white if I didn't know better... Post more pictures in a week or two bet it'll be easier to tell

Colie <3 :

The parents of the chick are both confirmed splits or have a lav parent?

If they have a lav parent then they are splits, unless the seller got birds mixed up or lied then they are definite split for lav.

It doesn't matter in silkies, since it doesn't show on silkied feathers.

Here is a lavender chick, I think this turned out to be a pullet

I was just wondering if the parents included a split or were both splits or if one was a lavender

Trying to figure out the odds of the chick being a lav before answering
