There are plenty of us that ship, but it is waaaay to hot right now to even think about it..It was 100 degrees here yesterday. I usually ship from February up to the first of July, so needless to say, I have quite an abundance of chicks since the temps have been utterly miserable. I have 4 fans going in my pens and frozen 2 liter bottles. When it cools down, I'm sure you will be able to get you some sweeties!

And you should definitely think about getting some chicks from Sunshine Silkies when the weather cools down! I have 9 babies from her, and they are the biggest balls of fluff!

I think its more like well into next year.... With my incubator pooping out on me a few weeks ago, I had a huge setback right when all the girls were laying hardcore. Now with temps going up, laying is dwindling. I have gotten my incubator fixed but can't seem to get temp below 105 yet either. The only way is if its way too hot to ship and you are willing to drive....

I think all I even have available right now are a pet quality pair of blues. I'm pulling them from the 2-3 month old growout pen. The one I suspect is a cockerel is too loose in the wings for my liking and the one that looks like a pullet has a tinge of gold in the hackles. I could spare some 1 year old white males but they aren't in condition right now. This last weekend we had a swap in New Ulm and I got rid of all extra cockerels there.

Its even way too hot up here for any adult stock to be shipped. A couple weeks ago I shipped a buff hen out. Temps were in the 50's here and 70's on the receiving end. Shoulda been ok.... She arrived dead in the box. Nothing but chicks (and even then very carefully checking temps) til fall.

My birds are hot too

I'm going out in a minute to rig a fan up on the babies. The older birds seem to be taking it better thankfully *knock on wood*
