Silkie thread!

Can anybody tell me if this is a pure full blooded Silkie? Is there anyway to tell. He has blue skin and is young was hatched early this year. Thanks for any help.

well the first silkie chick from this hatch has finally decided to make it into this world he or she is going to be white and she has a nice vaulted head. one down and 32 more to go. i have an assortment of colors hatching. white, black, buff, splash, painted

I got some silkie chicks today and 3 are either splash or painted. How do I tell the difference?

The parents are black silkies, if that helps.

Will his top fluff get fuller? He was hatched out the beginning of this year. Or will it stay as is. Thanks for any help. I want to raise Silkies so I need a good looking Rooster. What do you guys think? Thanks
