I'm going to be moving her and the babies once they hatch into a rabbit hutch.
the hen that is jealous, never sits on eggs, she lays them and gives them to the broody lols.
but once they hatch she wants in with the mothering.

So as every has read before I had two silkies and my hen died so right now until he gets bigger (I have a moody BR rooster who is a little bullyish). I have my little man Humpty in my utility room in a large cage (and well anywhere on the lino floors while i sweep

) before I left to run errands i gave him some bread said my goodbyes...i return later and as I walk through the back door I herd him making the strangest noise I looked down and saw this.........He had obviously been taking a nap when a mouse decided to snag some of his bread....lol bad idea on the mouse's part humpty gave him an eye injury and a brain injury resulting in death lol....he managed to excape with the bread and he was madddd....so proud of my little tuff guy!!

there was 6 dead rats in the back of my coop.

Idk, heaps of my birds went missing at night, no feathers no body parts, nothing can get in my coop or out of my coop.
and its always locked at night.
