:O 24 eggs!
wow my broody doesnt even sit on that many at a time

the lady last time said 24+ and the extras she sent was 10 for a total of 34 this time she is doing 24+ again and i am hoping for an extra 10 like last time the only reason i only have 24 chicks out of the 34 is because i had one that for some reason had broken his leg to where it could not be fixed and another one for days was gasping for air i seperated it from the others i thought it would get better and did all i could for it but i had to put it out og his or her mysery so it would not suffer no more 3 eggs did not develop 2 had blood rings and the rest died early on in incubation. all 24 are in good health and growing and eating and drinking so i believe 24 out of 34 is good was shocked since i was tols that silkies are hard to hatch expecially if they are shipped. as they get older i will have alot of broody hens lol and my husband does not know what to think about that lol. i am so ready to recieve the eggs and get started my incubator is going to be crowded.

i do not plan to seperate till spring time and thank you so much for the info on the different pens what would a chick look like if i did buff with a black a blue or a white wonder what color i would get. seperating in spring is a good thing that way my 3rd coop will be built and then i do not have to divide the one i have them in now and that way i can have more chicks oh hubby might nt like that lol they are so addicting
